TN makes a hoarder feels better cause there's somewhere to stick your hoarding. But cause of that, you start to hoard even moreeeeee.

The 10th anniversary mini TN collection.

Basically it's a TN in super mini size.

Think most of them use it as a charm (yes, you hang it outside the leather cover. That's how you can personalize your TN. Mine has a hello kitty daruma hanging)

You can see it inside the bear's pocket (if you squint or move the phone closer to your eyes?) Hahahaha that's the size.

I didn't buy one. So I don't have a photo for you to show 😔

They were giving demo on how the machine is being operated and giving out these as bookmarks! (Or whatever you wanna do with it)

There were 4 colours and LOL everyone seems to be taking all 4 colours Hahhahaah #hoardersunite

I have been to many events where there's TAP but this is the frst time I see their semi automatic machine being operated.

It's Germany tech and of course, no longer in production. Prolly stopped in 1984 (if I remember correctly. Or they stopped upgrading the machine at 1960s & the factory closed at 1984)

Anyway, very cool! Quite fast actually the printing process but it's expensive cause of the labour needed to do the lead (not sure if they are using lead though)

Then you have the paper, which must be at least 350gsm. Means expensive la.

Why is such a thick paper needed?
Cause of the dent of the words printed. Though in the past, it is known as a defect if that happens but nowadays, people like the effect.

So thick paper is needed if not the back of the card would not be flat and smooth.

Then there's the wastage cost(not sure what Isit called) they would test print a few to make sure the colour and the "just right amount of dent" is adjusted.

So if you are asking for 100pcs (which is the min order), they would print around 150pcs (by the time test & trial for ink etc)

So yup! There you have it.

Of course, it won't be cheap. I asked and it's around rm10 per pc for a size slightly smaller than a5. I would get it if I'm having a small wedding and if my guests like the finer things in life.

Basically cured ham. Remembered eating this quite a bit when I went to Spain / Portugal 3 years back.

Thought this was actually well balanced with the apple slices (and cause I'm a sucker for prettiness like the chive flowers haha)

Order if you Wanna try cured ham or like these kind of food in general😊

Smoked duck breast rm26

This dish had so much going on, I don't know how to explain hahaha

There was cucumber, hazelnuts, orange segments, chilli oil etc (copied off the menu)

And the most surprising thing for me.

Tofu 😂😂😂

Totally didn't expect to see that at the bottom.

Personally enjoyed this dish quite a lot cause I thought it was very interesting mixture of flavours.

And also after today..I learned that I like radishes when it's shaved so thinly this way 😂

House cured salmon rm28

Needs no explanation cause salmon is like almost everyone's favourite.

Though I must say such cold appetizers are not very common (in a mall...?) and usually (well, for me la) we hardly order appetizers cause the price is almost same price as a main dish.

But if you would like to have a go & try, then you can consider these 😊

If not they have sweet belly (aka siew yoke haha) under the hot appetizers section which I realized many ppl raved about online.

Moving on to the mains!

Damnit. Next time going back to try soups cause we are big fans of soup 😁 he can totally change the rating of a restaurant by the soup and me by their dessert hahaha

Well, no complains. Standard pork rib. Soft and tender.

People have asked me if morganfield's or ante's is better. Unfortunately, my tongue has short term memory, so I will have to eat both on the same day to judge hahah

The coleslaw was actually kimchi slaw 😂 though ...I couldn't really felt it. Just felt it was different, but couldn't put my finger around it.

I remembered seeing ah pek's friend ordered this sometime last week.

And ...I didn't expect him to polish it off damn fast. His dish came AFTER ours but he finished it frst 😅

I guess that's enough to explain? Haha

The green thing there is actually ...green pea mash 😂 might take some by surprise but I thought it was not bad.

If you eat it together with the sauce, it goes pretty well. Unless U really don't like green peas la 😅

I like that the honey rockets are glazed! 😂 that's a very nice thing for me cause I always feel they are too bitter. But with the glazing, ate them without a problem!

If you are not a barbarian (haha meat is not your thing), you can opt for the salmon which I quite like cause well...like I said in the beginning.

Salmon is almost a favourite for everyone (or a safe bet)

Quite like the toppings (seaweed crust yo!) and of course glazed with my fav flavour, miso!

Am not a super big carbonara fan (I know right! Since I love cheese hahaha so strange) but everyone seemed happy enough eating this away.

Can't go wrong with carbonara as long it has cheeseeeeee and bacon!!!

This. This was my ultimate fav. 😋

Hahahahaha totally fattening and the flavour was super sibeh kao!

If you like heavy flavours, I totally recommend this! If you don't (eat clean, or like lighter flavours etc. I still think U Shld ask someone else to order so U can take a taste of it Hahahahah 😂)

The char siew was a bit too fatty for my liking (ah pek was in heaven though)

I shared this though. So I'm not sure if it will be too jelak to finish a whole plate by yourself. But you can try! 😂

And when U are eating, try not to think how much calories this one has 😂

I guess if you go in a group and don't mind sharing, you can try even more stuffs!

I would really go back to try their truffle fries! And they have nuggets too hmmm.

Also homemade gnocchi! I love gnocchi! 😋 so hard to find nice ones though.

I thought it was blueberry on the top but it turned out to be candied olives Hahahahaha 😂 and chocolate

This was not bad!

But argh. The main for a creme brûlée, at least to me is always the caramelized top and it's always not enough 😭

Valrhona chocolate slice rm23

This is one dense rich chocolate 😳

The downside to this is that it's small!!! 😩

I understand that it's rich so too much might be jelak but I think I can eat twice the size of this pc without any problems hahaha 😂

They also serve other desserts and cakes! Even alcoholic cakes!

Final verdict?

While the food is good, it is a lil pricey (well, for me la) so I will return when I Wanna be a barbarian or for celebrations like birthday, farewell, happy Sunday etc

Not an everyday thing for sure 😅

Also, this review is based on my own tastebuds so it will differ from person to person!

Stumbled upon it as we were looking for food nearby.

Saw lepaq lepaq but the kiam me refused to pay rm10 (rm5 if U spend more than rm15) for parking.

So yea. Here we are!

Rm22 for big breakfast which I think is better than plan b's! Realized this is cheaper than my 2 scoops of Haagen last week hahaha 😂

Anyway, soup was good too! Potato I think.

But overall maybe everything was a lil too salty (maybe alright if U have a cuppa but I didn't order any drink so after everything, was a lil salty. Then again, soup esp after its cold, is always saltier kan? hmmm)

Here for a fashion illustration class by the craft crowd! 😊

Quite happy to see them holding classes for quite a reasonable rate of rm180 with food & utensils! Classes are around 3 hours or so!

Every Sunday there's a class & classes change every month! I think they rotate & will bring back certain classes, so if you miss this week's (let's say brush lettering) just wait for it to appear in their list again! 😊

Anyway, was pleased to see that not only utensils such as paper (thick paper, not measly a4s), watercolour colour pencils (looked like old stock but okay, it's brand new as in never used before), 0.7 mechanic pencil, eraser and leads!

Not bad isn't it!

Plus stuffs like a tote bag, a silkscreened cover notebook (designed by the instructor today) and a small shibori tie dye cloth! 😊

Anyway the class is mainly Erm...drawing fashion from a real life model. So like life sketch fashion illustration?

So we learned basics like a human's height is around 9 heads (or sometimes 11 for fashion illustration. Exaggerate ma)

Then you mark the points like hips, shoulders etc.

It's sometimes more of overall than detail (depending)

Look at the model more than focusing on your paper (this one is a bit hard)

I guess in general, you can't expect miracles in a 3 hour class but it's enough to let you have a feel of it.

Esp if you are a beginner.

Not soooo much for me cause I was expecting more in depth (actually I was hoping to learn much much more, but then again I learned that sometimes in the end of the day, you just need to practice practice practice. Draw till the death of you!)

Or I just need to go for proper classes, like semesters and terms. Not short classes like these 😅

Prolly the onllllllyyyy downside for the whole class (can't say much about the module cause I guess for a beginner is okay. My fault, should have asked the instructor more questions instead of just drawing) is that the food was gone pretty fast 😂

I was slow in packing and going to the loo, by the time I got to the buffet table there were only fruits and fries left, didn't see any of the pizza or mains. 😂

So I guess next time I better be quick unless I don't bother about it and have my own food outside beforehand!

Well, I guess this also means that the food is good? 😂

Though the clothes were nice, I got tired of using black and so I switched around with the colours 😅 we were told to be free in doing whatever we wanted.

Though technically drawing black stuff is one of the best way to train your eyes, I think.

Proportion is a lilllll out on the right side 😛 and I need to research more on cloth textures and folds! So much to go🙊🙉🙈
