Erm..the last trip we went to. It only worked for the frst night.

2nd night, he snored away. Thought it fell off his nose but nope, it was still there.

And he's still snoring.

Once I recorded his snore & replayed it for him the next morning.

He asked me, "what animal sound is this? So scary wan?"

I remember reading a book on kokeshi dolls!

It's amazing how much patience & heart japanese put into doing their crafts.

Plus every kokeshi doll is different cause it's fully handmade. That's insane 😳

Sadly though, it's dying out cause young gen don't Wanna take over.

Not sure about the ones in front but the one at the back is called daruma otoshi!

This game is played by using a small hammer to hit the coloured pcs out one by one, from bottom to top, without letting it fall.

Erm..actually knew all these from reading manga 😂

The manga is called "kamisama no iutoori" if anyone is interested. Hmm more to horror / thriller though. Not the cute type 😅

Our Sibeh healthy lunch...can't even remember what was it anymore other than the rice was some black grain organic rice (something like that)

Taste wise is really not bad. I quite like m-ti cup's food actually.

The only drawback is that the menu only consists of 2 items. Usually one main and another is a salad kinda dish.

And cause they use organic stuffs, so it's not that cheap. This is rm19. And I finished it. Meaning portion is not super huge 😛

😁 I survived the night!

It was quite crazy and I was wayyyyy behind intended schedule but I think overall I did ok?

Haha level up for me! 😊

When I first saw the email from Dior, I had to read it twice to confirm that it was indeed THE Dior😂

First time in a Dior store (I didn't realize it till I actually stepped in) and actually sat there for 5 hours straight.

I have done drawings in public but it's usually very casual and the opportunity is very rare.

I usually draw in the comfort of my own home, in my pajamas and with my tools all over the table. (& sometimes floor)

So this has taught me to always be prepared and visualize myself. In case if so & so happens, what would the solution be?

Also, to be aware of my words 😅

The flowers on my table. So beautiful yet so fragile. They sat the plane all the way, just to live for 24 hours. Will be thrown right after the event which was a waste to me seeing how beautiful they are.

This has also taught me to always be calm despite the pressure & stress that I might face.

To always have a steady face. (& if possible a steady heart)

Despite everything, I did my best and was glad I took this job 😊

My reward for the night.

After 8 hours of hunger, one must be a glutton! (Just thankful my stomach didn't make a sound during the event!)

Super grateful that the staff was super friendly, the girl who liaised with me was super nice and even the clients who were there during the launching were super patient with me.

Response and time needed to draw was above what I expected, resulting in a long queue.

So thankful everyone was patient in waiting😊

Have to practice more!

This is the closest I will ever be in owning a Dior (at least for now)

A Dior paper bag 😅

My bags and utensils needed to be put into this paper bag and placed under the table.

Out of sight.

The whole night I witnessed how a branded store service their clients and it's nothing but professional.

So I too, seriously tried my best to be as proper as possible😵 since I'm part of the "team".

But U know.. I did the drawings in watercolour and so kelian, the girl next to me who was assisting.

Her job was to insert the drawing into a paper frame.

In the end, her job included "satay-ing" the drawings so that they will dry faster 😱

I totally forgot about that!!
That watercolour has a drying time!

So much for trying to keep it "atas", thanks to me. The whole night everyone is seeing her "satay-ing" the drawings.

I have always known Dior as a brand.

But this job made me read up on its beginnings and I now have a whole new perception towards Dior.

I guess you feel closer when you know the story behind something.

I nvr knew Christian Dior is somewhat superstitious. I find it cute seeing he's not chinese but yet he believes in stuffs like these.

And that his favourite flowers are roses and lily of the valley 😊

I enjoy knowing small small details like this about a person.

The 10th anniversary mini TN collection.

Basically it's a TN in super mini size.

Think most of them use it as a charm (yes, you hang it outside the leather cover. That's how you can personalize your TN. Mine has a hello kitty daruma hanging)

You can see it inside the bear's pocket (if you squint or move the phone closer to your eyes?) Hahahaha that's the size.

I didn't buy one. So I don't have a photo for you to show 😔

They were giving demo on how the machine is being operated and giving out these as bookmarks! (Or whatever you wanna do with it)

There were 4 colours and LOL everyone seems to be taking all 4 colours Hahhahaah #hoardersunite

I have been to many events where there's TAP but this is the frst time I see their semi automatic machine being operated.

It's Germany tech and of course, no longer in production. Prolly stopped in 1984 (if I remember correctly. Or they stopped upgrading the machine at 1960s & the factory closed at 1984)

Anyway, very cool! Quite fast actually the printing process but it's expensive cause of the labour needed to do the lead (not sure if they are using lead though)

Then you have the paper, which must be at least 350gsm. Means expensive la.

Why is such a thick paper needed?
Cause of the dent of the words printed. Though in the past, it is known as a defect if that happens but nowadays, people like the effect.

So thick paper is needed if not the back of the card would not be flat and smooth.

Then there's the wastage cost(not sure what Isit called) they would test print a few to make sure the colour and the "just right amount of dent" is adjusted.

So if you are asking for 100pcs (which is the min order), they would print around 150pcs (by the time test & trial for ink etc)

So yup! There you have it.

Of course, it won't be cheap. I asked and it's around rm10 per pc for a size slightly smaller than a5. I would get it if I'm having a small wedding and if my guests like the finer things in life.

Anyway, it was quite nice, meeting ppl with the same hobbies and so.

Though I must admit.....it was awkward at frst for I went alone and wasn't esp close to anyone. So I couldn't just jump in to anywhere.

So most of the time (at least frst half of the event) I was awkwardly walking around, trying to make small talk and staring at my phone.

But okay. Slowly the crowd lessened (oh yea, there was a lucky draw! Grand prize was the mini TN! Lucky winner!)

Anyway, got better towards the end Cus there was lil ppl left. I can slowly make my voice through and yea 😊
