Pipit Wonderful Market 8

Purposely went all the way to Pipit Wonderful Market 8  (and elbowed through the crazy crowd, "people mountain, people sea") to just catch a glimpse of Evangelione's The Feast exhibition.

More photos after my dreaded Jap exam this Wednesday T_T kamsiah.
The super talented Evangelione behind these wonderfully made dolls. Her dolls are always on exhibitions all around the world! no playplay okay! Looking at her dolls always makes me wonder exactly what is going on in her mind. Kinda "Evangelione In her Own Wonderland." The dolls were being sold at around rm220 each and by the time I got into line (yes, a queue!) to see them, all the dolls were SOLD OUT-_-! meh. It was just around prolly an hour since Pipit started? And actually I wonder how she feels. Everyone snapping and fussing over her dolls. LOL. If me I would be silently saying, "don't touch that! don't go so near! be careful!!!! ROAR!" on and on at the back of my mind. Esp. people who were carrying big ass DSLRs. And ta-dah! One of the cameras actually hit the main antler doll and it fell! O_O Evangelione was calm but I was certainly not. LOL! If those were my handmade dolls, I would have fainted.

The place was so crowded and it was extremely hard to take photos without having people in the background-_- doesn't help that my Sony is on PMS mode. I don't know why but each of her dolls seem to have a character of their own. very subtle but visible if you....erm...stare long enough and put a lil imagination, i guess. LOL! The apple girl seems to be saying, "Can I eat my apple now?" But if you take her from a different angle, it looks like she's asking "Do you want a bite of this apple ?" LOL role playing for them-_- syiok sendiri la me.

Bought these! Dammit. Not supposed to buy anymore deco stuffs but these were so cute! T_T It felt like I was choosing my own pet in a pet shop! Crystal and me took forever choosing-_- Actually I think we walk pass the stall 3 times to confirm whether it was worth getting and awhs....for a moment I thought they were pineapples. I think with my random useless words that I spurt out once in a while, those almost killed the stall owner. Really. I am surprised she still "layan" me after all that crap talking.
Right down to the pompoms she hanged at the back as deco. She was selling them, pompoms garlands for deco purposes. Actually it's really useful esp for parties, showers, almost anything really. Cause I did it for CNY and Xmas last year :P Won't be buying since I know how to make them. Mom hates them though, she kept saying the red ones reminded her of the red ball in front of the bridegroom in those traditional Chinese wedding-_- bah! Btw, those are flying fishes! Whatthefishhhhhhhhhhh. I was saying good Xmas tree decos, she was saying she hangs them at her bedroom window in rows (must be really prettyyyyy *_*)

Laughs* looks like Crystal-chan! meh! The guy behind bug-a-boo soooooo timid and..can I just....pinch his cheeks?! nowadays I feel like pinching everyone's cheeks-_- Esp if you are quiet ...and shy...and timid...and *pinnnnnccccchhh* ahhh~

The one that did not buy anything but ended up carrying everything and waiting the whole time for us to be done....*thank youuuuuuuu*pinch ah pek's cheeks*
The only other thing I bought to match my moustache necklace. Crystal asked me to buy a moustache Tee that was being sold there. LOL nebermind! I go Dorothy buy rm33 Tee and draw myself ba! :D
My must have lekor-lekor from Pasar Seni. Prefer it without mayo. Then again, as long I see lekor, I want!! I remember the last time I went to Taman Tun, I randomly bought lekor from a malay aunt who was having a stall at the roadside. Upon eating it once in the car, I almost wanted to u-turn just to get another packet! O_O don't even know where she is now! ahhhhh!!! T_T

KAKA Art Market 卡卡創意市集 - Shaw Parade KL 2012

Always wanted to go to KAKA Art Market since ......since I knew about it. hahaha but I always seem to forget (or things tend to come up at the last minute T_T) despite it's stagnant date.

Date : Always on the first Sunday of every month
Loc : Shaw Parade KL

Finally....T_T
Finally..........I get to go *gam dong*throws cheese confetti*

They always (I think) have a theme for it. This time around it's "Once Upon A Time.." :D Listen already also happy! Like who the heck did not grow up with "Once Upon A Time.." fairytales?! (and the same voice that says that line! every time O_o) And if I'm not wrong again, usually the vendors will try to sell things fitting to the theme. Actually, I had super high expectations for it. So when I came out from the elevator, just to turned and see the above...I was a bit...shocked? laughs* Not that the vendors weren't good, I guess I was expecting more? Although there was around 20-ish vendors but it was like...*look see look see* and I was done in....15 minutes max. hahahahahaha that is effing short compared to how much time I always spend at Pipit Wonderful Market. I guess Pipit is bigger in comparison. But nevertheless, I was joyjoy cause although there were some repeats, but there were some I have never seen before despite going Pipit many times :D

The only shop that I bought something from....or more like ah pek bought for me. *hides face*...cause my wallet had only RM4. You can NEVER EVER get something for RM4 from a handcraft art market..oh. maybe like a 5"x5" cloth larh-_- I guess one of the reason he obliged was cause he himself has never seen handmade pottery at these kind of handcraft art market. Neither had I.

I know it's not cheap *stares at obvious price tag* but I thought it was worth since I doubt they do re-makes and they had a demo pottery session right there! dammit. If only my finger wasn't infected. Ever since I watched "Honey & Clover", pottery was something that I wished I had the chance at least dip my hands to.

Owlssss :D soooo kiuteeeeee~
Handmade by the teacher himself. He did some Ilamas too. I thought they were wonderful as well (dammit no shots!) but they weren't cheap and there was this particular one that came tied with a bell. A China lady grabbed it fast...and arh...she definitely wasn't gonna let it go. hahahaha T_T The one we settled on was a normal bowl with an embossed pair of birds : ) It was done by the girl who was taking care of the stall. I actually asked her what was the purpose of the bowl before buying it and she said it can be anything I want to use it for. Multi purposela so to speak. I actually have the nerve to say "Oh, I thought you would have a concept in mind as of why it is done with such design and shape first."

SHIT. DAMN RUDE, BULAT. DAMN RUDE.

by the time it was out of my mouth, it was too late to retreat!!
*note to self*
filter ALL words!! roar!*

ahhhh! I love this shop! I mean look at the bunnneeeehhhs!  :D ah pek said I have weiiiiiirrrrddddddd taste...-_- what?! are you trying to say the maker himself is weird too?! pifts* different people, sure got different taste ma. correct?? *defensive* haha too bad, I could not find a reason to buy any of the above and ...I only have RM4-_- ah pek definitely not gonna loan me money to buy something he finds...weird...T_T but one thing, we saw the "person" behind this shop. He was actually sewing something on the spot. Cause he was deep in work....we took a while to register that he IS a guy......AND a young one AND a not bad looking one. (yes, we like to "kap jai") Suddenly, his creations look even nicer after that hahahaha :P

The Frog Prince
....The stall that made ah pek wanna buy their whole Mouse Family Clay Set home. *laughs* Doesn't the above looks.....like...amazing? my eyes went O_O It was made just to fit the theme-_-..... I think half the people who were there, on the spot wanted to join their classes. It was hard to believe for me that clay can look this good. Honestly, they should work with people who can bake. I feel they are even more detailed then most fondant bakers out there. Not sure how much of a difference it is in texture between clay and fondant but seriously....can sell. Sure earn! I should tell them! hahahah :D

If not, maybe aspiring bakers should take clay art classes first. Just a thought.

Jewellery Clay Cupcake Boxes and Matryoshka Dolls.....T_T I would gladly buy if ...I HAD MORE THEN RM4. ROAR* I think it makes good proposal gifts :D Especially the Frog one....hahahahahaha :D What a look! They sold earrings (dangling ones unfortunately) and clay charm bracelets, those were really cute but priced around rm50 to 60-ish.

Erm..cause "Cow & Chicken" from Nickelodeon was running through my head when I saw these. :P Otherwise, just thought they were cute. Esp the Mother Hen with her 2D baby chicks haha

Vendors that were there but no pics cause I always see them at Pipit.

Pupurin  : the girl who runs it reminds me of my late kaima. very soft spoken and humble :D I bought a "Do-It-Yourself" kit...that I had not started on..*draws circles on the floor* if you love cats, a must click!

Lullabelle Soap : personally never bought anything from her before but I know her lipbalm and nail ointment is very sellable plus if you ever wanna buy very personalized soap, then you must get it from her.

Bugaboo : weird creatures galore!! I always wanted to buy one...but mom doesn't allow anymore "random creatures" to sleep on my bed with me..T_T so...I'm waiting for the day ah pek to buy a bigger bed so I can *uh-hm* migrate some there to make some space on mine :P

a very satisfied day....even more satisfied if Typica was opened T_T sad!* heard that coffee is their speciality, but actually I was eyeing out for their famous Yam Cake...like you know...normal sponge butter cake with yam paste? :D

Sad to say , all the way there just to hear that they took a short holiday to Borneo or somewhere. Oh well, it just means mom now has a chance to go with me for their coffee since I am gonna make another trip. Can't wait larhhhh!!!
