Killing Bolehland at Churpout

Sorry bolehland! T_T Dan Khoo really sat there the whole morning cutting, pasting and assembling it and it wasn't easy cause we din't have the proper tools and ...the doll is not easy to make also la ^^" I din't dare go near it after that...hopefully it stayed throughout the day...hurhurhur.

Anyway, thank you to everyone who came ! (Must draw Lumi soon! LOL ROAR**)  I had loads of fun (& a lil bit of stress) drawing *laughs* It was fun drawing with the rest and meeting people but stress cause erm...first time drawing in public & all ..

Escape Room @ eCurve, Damansara

Es-Ca-Peh Room!! ESCAPEEEEHHH :D:D
Every time I see that word, I will read it how Dory from Finding Nemo does :D

annoying, I can be!

Anyway,  LastLastLast  early this month, Ernest invited the CBG (ComicBloggerGroup) to play ESCAPE ROOM at our own risk . I was at first, very reluctant to go cause the website was so scary, the room descriptions were eerie *sigh* Horror & me, we don't go well together, ya' know?

But in the end, I decided to go for it.

Friend time > Horror time

In the end.....

It was so much fun that we did not wanna get out of the room!
(yea right!)

HAHAHA FAIL AH WE ALL!!!
Basically, the goal is to escape/get out of the room in 45 minutes and as you can see, it was already 42 minutes. Means we had only 3 minutes remaining to get out and we act like this!! aiyos! :P

It was so much fun that we took a souvenir!

Laughs*
Miao enjoy playing till one of the prop masuk pocket accidentally! :D and that was one of the biggest padlock too! Now that I think of it.....how did it fit in his jeans pocket!? O_O

It was much more fun the fact that we were WINNERS!!!!!

YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!
:D
Super unexpected !!
& I will take this opportunity to thank Eric cause he solved a very crucial clue and from then on, it was a smooth road out! heh heh*

All in all it was very fun! (Not sure if the fact is because we actually won hahaha maybe I might feel less fun if we lost?!) Something different from the usual activities you can do when you are out with anyone at all. And it brings back memories of playing Crimson Room late at night. Kinda surreal that one day I would be playing a similar game to Crimson Room LIVE.

Ah pek & me would go back to try other rooms some day! For now, I hope not to enter the upcoming Slaughter House room T_T Lucky they don't randomly throw you inside a room. You can pick what room you wanna escape from.

Go try OK? :D:D:D

Bulat's First Nuffnang Event

First and foremost, would like to thank GPS for bringing us to a malay wedding.

The event was supposed to start at 2pm and there I was stuck in the neighbourhood...had to call Ann from Nuffnang to say that I will be late. First time going for a Nuffnang event and I am late. very good ah bulat!! -_-!

Was a lil worried at first cause I will stone in an environment that I know no one O_O But my heart....hahaha felt lighter the moment I saw familiar faces! Actually as soon as I found the cafe (which ah...took me a while cause I kept going into elevators that bring me no where! O_O) I started scanning to see if I know anyone (^^")
I sat next to MissyMiyen during the talk, whom I recognized from her blog! Had random thoughts to myself while stealing glances at her...hahaha (no manners bulat! did not even intro myself!)

Within 10 minutes or so, I pitied her. Cause every now and then, some random person would kacau her say,"Excuse Me." cause she's pretty :D. Well other than that is cause her seat so strategic, everyone wants to walk pass it to get to the other side!
Both Ernest and Chee Ching were so good!! I bet everyone was mesmerized by their "magic show!" *laughs* I no kidding one last post!! Keng leh the way they draw! Now I just gotta see Miao's! Heard it's faster than lightning ah! pewpewpew!! (piupiupiu??)

*paiseh* I started eating halfway during the talk...cause so hungry! T_T my stomach's orchestra later louder than their speeches...They both gave sooo many good tips and all. I regretted not bringing pen&paper T_T Some more with my brain capacity..hurhurhur. In the end I prayed hard, and lucky other bloggers were hardworking, unlike me T_T *steals info from their blogs*
Also...short attention span. :P hahaha! Ernest's shirt really looked like he wore it inside out! I was staring at it quite long, in the end of the day I actually touched his sleeve to check. Feel like a mom suddenly-_-! Kns.
I love Sarah!! (One of Malaysia's top comic artist) She's a bundle of joy and positiveness!! O_O Her speech was hebat ah!!! Inspired me to do something that I wanted to do for a looooooongest time, but din't get my lazy ass to do it :(  Will be for my 2013 resolution!! And yes....the browniesss T_T Cause I was asking her tons of questions!! Dragged Ras in somemore! sorryyyyy!! Luckily they refilled it! If not I don't know how....huhuhu.

Omgosh! Meet Staci!! O_O I don't know who starstruck who at that point. hahahaha! Her paper dolls are like one of the cutest things on earth!! If they were stickers, I would stick them everywhere !!! EVERYWHERE! I tell you! EVERYWHERE! *shows serious look*nodsnods* Am so happy she came up to me, if not I will never know who is behind the cute paper dolls T_T
Everyone's mini souvenier! :D:D Can't get over Ernest's #likeabaws signature and ah pek looks like he's wearing sarong! :P

And...Staci, (if you ever stumbled upon here) since you ask why I am called bulat although I don't look very bulat...Here is my bulat proof. Now also got, I just hide my roundness well. :P

Don't play&drive

Okay.. I am in no right to tell people to drive safe.
But DO drive safe! Balik kampung drive safe, come back also drive safe! :D
And yes, we are both safe, inc. my beloved old car (if not won't be here writing this kan?!) although we were obviously, probably, might be at the brink of death from my action above *hides*

First times in Melaka

To clear my last post, the "roadtrip" was actually just a weekend getaway to Melaka with the above sakais for ms.Chan's birthday *hides from people who were gonna throw things at me for drawing misleading things in the last post*

Honestly although my mom's hometown is Melaka, I hardly ever get to go down Jonker. And this is the first time I manage to experience different things at Jonker than the usual eateateat (although we DID eateateat for this trip anyway...*pinches belly*)

This is first time I stayed over at Jonker. Chose Hotel Puri  and got a shock of our lives to see swallows at night at their ceiling walls (eh! Looked like bats okay!) O_O Just to realize ....actually it's bird's nests...

First time ate Keluak. More like found the existence of it...-_- please don't ask me to describe the taste, it has this indescribable taste and it's just surreal eating it. plus it's all black! Cause you have to dig into the seed to eat it....and it's just like eating a lot of black stuff that feels like moist sand but thankfully, I'm sure taste better than sand ...RM1.50 per keluak seed.
Stumbled upon the above, I loved the shop! Filled with pretty detailed clay pottery works. I especially liked the ones that are used as lights. Can you imagine what silhouettes will be on the wall when they are lighted up? :D I personally think they will make good centerpieces for small, warm weddings.

Melaka is really filled with artsy-crafty people who devote themselves to their passion. The person behind all these (so rude of me! I did not ask for his name!) together with his wife, have been doing it for 17 years now. Right after college they experimented and honed their skills and they are still doing so up till today. There are no re-makes and everything is one-of-a-kind. His shop is also filled with wonderful paintings which are actually done by his brother and his brother-in-law. The love and talent for art does run in his family's blood!

Melaka is also filled with artsy-fartsy tourists!
kuakuakua* Spent a good time reading all the guests posts at Limau Limau Cafe.

Also, this is my first time witnessing ms.Boey going crazy bout badminton (actually, just over Lee Chong Wei) and going in and out almost every cafe/restaurant/pub we passed by that has a TV, asking if they were going to play the match later at night.
We will come back next year to find this LOL
Settled for Bistro 11 cause that was the only place at Jonker showing O_O
Amount of people who were there to support.
My first time doing something like this O_O  Furthermore, at Jonker! With sooooo many people! O_O and the decibels of support, it's like WOAH O_O and even when he lost, people still clapped for the game well played and I was trying so hard not to sniffle when I saw Dato' LCW's tear :(
Sitting there (front row somemore! ms.Boey actually asked the waiter to book the seats for us while we go have dinner ELSEWHERE instead...) must order something at the very least la like this...
Just to see 3 SAME SIZE MUGS reached the table....So I should really thank Dato' Lee Chong Wei for indirectly giving me 1/2 pint of free beer (better than ice-cream no?) but honestly, next time I will stick to my wine/cider/hard liquor instead. Definitely don't mind free 1/2 pint of wine! Although I might die from drinking that whole lot! *laughs*

Also, my first time feeling left out from all the this "high-techness"  T_T
Before this, road trips were always filled with sleepless nights from endless bickering!
Guess it's time to bring books out during trips again.
