psst*

i have to stop watching movies-_- eating up all my time and money. zzz. Thank God nothing new until Feb from the looks of it. for now i only wanna catch Muallaf (ROAR* i will make time. lazy wait for DVD) and surprisingly haven't watch Chipmunks-_-' mieh.
hmmmmmmmmmm*
normal storyline, 1 or 2 really laugh aloud scenes and 1 interesting quote which dear ms.bulat obviously forgot -_-
if possible do no watch. i repeat do not watch. hugh grant has acted manymany love stories before(like Notting Hill :D) and this is definitely something worth missing in my opinion. nevertheless, catch it if all you wanna have is a reason so all you can do while watching is snuggle next to your baobei. *uh-hm*

and this is my 1st time talk until we forgot bout the movie timing-_- just to see 930pm on our handphone clocks when the movie starts at 920pm. we were still munching on our food. zzz!!

random movie

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

i did not even know such movie existed-_- shows how much i check movie listings.
we just went to TGV (after looking at how horribly long the queue was at GSC. ridiculous!) and i jumped right into it at the sight of the poster (or maybe cause i saw the magic word. JOHNNY DEPP. hahahahah:D)

forced the ah pek to watch :P and ar...he obliged cause he saw the "Festival De Cannes" logo imprinted on the poster. okay. maybe cause Heath Ledger was one of the main too.

i lovelovelove independent films!!! :D there's always something ....bout them. certain depth that most of Hollywood blockbusters are missing (esp when i watched Die Hard 4...did not know why the heck i was sitting in the cinema just paying to watch explosions-_-'' sigh)

anyway maybe it's just me. since this show is more fairytale-ish based :D as long it made me happy. hahahaha :D i shall now leave you with the following link for i think the person wrote a great review on it. if you ask me..i can't even summarize it for you-_-

CLICK-ISM
or you can always wikipedia it.

he's a r-r-r-rrrrobot?!

so funny lar sometimes.
the things that i'm kidding about wanting or don't put much hope happens. where else things that i really want don't happen. what's this? *laughs*

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
anyway, presenting ASTROBOY.
omg i did not expect to watch this-_-'' but surprisingly it wasn't bad. i knew the existence of AstroBoy but knew peanuts bout it. i always assumed it was a robot guy fighting bad guys (well, my guessing wasn't that off)

i love the colours used for this movie *shineshine eyes* happy and bright, like children's book (what am i saying? all cartoons are like children's book in movement) ahahaha it was not like jam-packed with emotions but enough to make you laugh at certain parts and feel sad at some. i mean...although he was a robot made to replace the Professor's dead son, "throwing" (disowning?) him away just like that was a pain to see.

how can they not care bout robot's feelings?! isn't Doraemon one of them!? *ROAR*

i looked into the old fart's eyes to show sadness at this point while saying that Doraemon thing..and all he can say was, "Er...where got...he's a cat...miao?"

-_- potong.

and machine guns at AstroBoy's butt? :D too cute. hahahaha brings farting to a different level.

just a movie to watch if you don't wanna use any brain cells and to train your eyesight to get used to his hairstyle-_-''

the time traveler's wife

the golden rule.
books are always better.

hahaha i can't really judge the movie cause the book was more detailed and precised. but perhaps they did well in extracting what was important since so far no one (or whomever i knew that has watched) complained bout it. siu mai even said it was touching and cried. the book was way more touching i felt. yes. they tweaked the ending ever so slightly. but then again, thank God i read the book cause it made me feel clearer in general. lil ms.chicken was asking questions and talking throughout the whole movie (a habit that hasn't changed since form 2!) so i din't really felt the climax etc. of the movie. just enjoying a private girl session with her :P (and felt lucky the guy behind din't kill us for talking so much and kinda loud haha)

not for guys who likes action pack and don't have a tiny bit of emotion in their heart or people expecting high expectations.

as i quote lil ms.chicken, "somewhat in between The Notebook(the better movie) and P.S I love you."

i have to catch the Notebook.

and dammit. now i have to buy or download "500 days of summer".

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
oh :D lil ms chicken and i shall thank her for accompanying me to watch this movie with genuine feelings of wanting to catch the movie. *blessed*

Oh and heh* anne:D since you read my blog. her and her "uh-hm" are going on well for now :D i still enjoy teasing her to bits and pieces. catch up on Nov *muarks*

Michael Jackson : This Is It

the movie showed me a glimpse of Michael Jackson true self. (which means it did live up to the tagline given for the movie : Discover the man you never knew)

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

how humble he is.
he says his thanks and gives his blessings. he spreads the love whenever he can. he also motivates people. at one part he said to his guitarist, "it's your turn (or was it time) to shine. we will be with you". you can actually feel his sincerity when he said it.

how meticulous he is.
how he knows what he wants and how he wants things to be done. he makes sure everything is pin point perfect, not for him but for everyone.

how playful he can be.
he kids around..lightly and i found it cute that he sucks on a lollipop while watching rehearsals haha :D

how talented he is.
seriously, who doesn't know this.

he's truly a performer. he starts dancing once the music starts O_o at 50 with such dance moves....i tell you, i sway worse than a tree.

and of course other bits and pieces of him that i can't simply jot it down here. you would have to catch the movie and watch it, feel it for yourself. the man himself.

everyone knows that Michael Jackson was truly a living talent and this show just proves it even more.

i am pretty sure i head sobbings somewhere in the cinema. it's not surprising to hear them. even for me, i was really deeply moved by the whole movie and it's never too late to praise the King of Pop.

p.s// my mom couldn't stop saying how wasting it is for the whole time she was taking bits and pieces off the film and using whatever footage shown and made up her own mini Michael Jackson concert in her brain while humming to certain songs. also she kept complaining how thin he was haha O_o

p.s.s// Premiers are scary. or maybe just this time around cause the whole Cathay Cineplex Damansara was showing the movie. i got a shock fighting my way through in-_- and then getting my way out of E-curve. *Faints*

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs

One word to summarize this whole movie.

LAME.

from the start to the end. it was LAME.

lame to me is fuh-nay.

it's stupid kind of funny. if you can take it, by all means laugh like us. LOUD AND HARD :D

if not...ar...be like my other half :D stared blankly half the time. hahaha

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
if you ask me definitely can't beat UP but beat Monsters Vs. Aliens hands down! :D certain jokes were classic, some remakes, expressions (like the dad's..and the kissing moments) were priceless..all in all, coming out of the cinema laughing over small silly things is always better then confusion over the non-understandable storyline kinda movie.

so all's good.

plus cartoons always have better moral values in the end of the day. i feel. maybe it's to educate kids (and adults)

:D

please...please...haha do not think so much like.."eiyer so dirty..how to eat from the floor the food...omg so toxic leh ingredients from clouds and you know rain not clean what."

if it's like this cinema should start restricting saying for ages 8 and below AT HEART. (aiks. sorry prawn babe! i know you din't mean it but aiyoo.....don't lar spoil the movie for yourself.)

and the whole cinema prolly heard me went berserk when i saw ice-cream town :D hahahah omg. what's there not to like bout comfort food?! you tell me!

and what girls do after watching movie? SHOP-_- ARGH* Overspend wei this month. but it was rm15 a shirt!!! i can't believe i'm having a bimbo complaint moment-_-

moment end.

the perfect Mieh...

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
these are the shows that always show you the true meaning of cliche-_-

always the most "cannot be wan" is the bad guy.

:D

do not judge a book by its cover right?

kekeke.

not a bad show. but not that worth it though..sigh* will i ever get to watch Tsunami...but i fear it will be like Sinking of Japan-_- bad past experiences always disturbs the current mindset...for everything.

evening

3evening00

it has been quite sometime since i caught a movie with Ms.Sexy. Esp. since she was in Kuantan for 3 weeks of recuperation before starting the new job.

the show was beautifully directed/shot(?) okay, i don't even know the proper term but the settings were lovely. the props, the lighting, the view, the actors. Everything. they were all amazing. it was like getting sucked into the film without even realizing it.

it was supposed to be a touching and somewhat emotional movie....well obviously my nerves are dead cause i did not feel much other than thinking how wonderful the whole movie is shot. i love it down to every detail. where else Ms.Sexy was like "if they showed her dead, my tears are gonna fall"

in response i said "what a great movie! it was funny"

FUNNY.

i don't know why that word came out. seriously, i don't know what the heck made me said that.

but all in all it was a good show. maybe nothing very extraordinary, but it wasn't bland enough to make you feel dead.

just the right touch...but only for a handful of people. i'm sure not everyone will appreciate such movie...or maybe i know a handful of people who definitely won't watch this. *laughs*

oh the best part was..they did not cut (or put cardboard to blackout) the kissing scenes plus there were no subtitles! wow. felt so...clean :D *laughs* you know how our subtitles are. takes up 1/3 of the screen. bleah.
