ESSE Gives Back : Charity Sale Event

Esse Organic Skincare, an eco-conscious skincare brand promoting a sustainable lifestyle, will be hosting a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The artwork will be painted by children, for children. Proceeds from the artwork will be donated to SHELTER – Home for Children in Malaysia. We protect what we love. By encouraging our children to paint the beauty of nature, we are also teaching them to love our irreplaceable Mother Earth.

We would like to invite you to come join us on the 19th July at AnnexE Gallery, Central Market, to show your support for these amazing young artists and to SHELTER.

Yay! Another collab! This time with BroDontLikeThatLaBro! hehe* Must do more collabs in the near future cause it's actually quite fun :D

Have been reading BroDontLikeThatLaBro prolly around early last year and was stunned when I met Ernest for the first time (actually I was stunned when I met everyone of the Comic Bloggers for the first time O_O )

The feeling is like always watching Mickey Mouse on TV then one day you see Mickey Mouse live right in front of you!? Ya! That kind of feeling! O_O Did you guys get it...somehow? hahahaha Okay, that was bad example but that was pretty much how I felt.

Meeting Jon during the 24 Hours Comic was also kinda the same feeling....and seeing how they act together in flesh....I can imagine all the other stuffs that happened as shown in BroDontLikeThatBro comics-_-

Falling Down

my dad lives by the quote "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

He is definitely alright since he can send me such SMS on the second day he was at the hospital-_-

 
I am supersuper thankful that he is. There is a small fracture somewhere at his backbone but it wasn't at any vital points so with a lot of resting and tons of TLC, (make that up to 6 months of TLC) he will be super okay after that. We were so worried when we first sent him to the hospital cause he could barely move and he was screaming at every single movement, his voice was echoing throughout the hospital! O_O

For a moment, he sounded like some wild animal going to be slaughtered.

He screamed even louder when he saw nurses pushing the bed towards operation theater...but actually just had to pass by that area to get his room...-_-''

And after all that "wild animal" screaming, the nurse called him "SI COMEL"

Pengsanla ku!!!!

A Litle Goes A Long Way

Early this year, I did a collab with other comic bloggers to draw for a cause. The t-shirts are now ready for pre-order! :)

In short, all money raised will be donated to La Salle Learning Centre Penang.

La Salle Learning Centre is a learning centre for children from disadvantaged backgrounds/underprivileged children, where they can find opportunities to grow. It is a non-profit learning centre and majority of their staffs are volunteers. The children will not only be taught academically but also emtionally and mentally, having a balanced growth to live a harmonious life.
