UP theme pre-wedding photoshoot : Day 1

The day has come!! :D
The day where we drag our asses excitedly to shoot for ms.prawn's pre-wedding shoot. (after manymany weeks of researching, hunting, discussion, budgeting ectectetc T_T)  It is our wedding present to her and that is why everyone is gonna kepo while trying to be good "keh leh fehs" (okay, maybe just me keh-leh-feh) for the whole shoot. ahhhhh!! :D so happpyyyyy~

But my "that time of the month" has to come as well.

ms.Prawn sewing some last minute bow tie for the groom....cause it was too expensive to buy bow ties..esp when you want like 5-10 different ones with the thought in mind that there is a budget for everything and the bow ties might not even come in use after this photoshoot. In the end I was the one sewing it cause everyone was dizzy from the curves of the roads up Cameron.... from that I found out that my sewing sucks and I pricked myself many times T_T

 

Everyone fussing over the bride's makeup. Not my forte so am gonna snapsnapsnap! Before this when we were looking for a place to change, me and ms.prawn randomly found some toilet nearby to do so. Upon finishing, there was a HUGE crowd of children outside coming in (we weren't suppose to go in and use the toilet cause there was a big ass no entry sign and it was a school area) and they were waiting to use the toilet. Our eyes were as big as plates for this was unexpected and there is no way I could hide her for she is already in her poofy wedding gown...so we walked out just like that. Must have looked like some fairy tale like Enchanted where she came out from the man hole in a puffy dress. hahahahahahahahha :P

Art Director/Photographer checking overall mood colour. Art Director 2 and photographer 2 kepo-ing. Groom ready to take off for a solo pre-shoot! cause bride's makeup is taking damn long and we are no professionals.

So cute!!! Jynn really looks like the UP character. *laughs* The fact that ms.prawn's brother works in production house. He scrutinized every detail there was in UP and executed it in real life. It's scary O_O Right to the colours of the balloons, overall mood, the props used.... Lucky he did not make the bird that was in UP as well. I would have fainted. I seriously can't wait cause Jynn did some really good shots hahahahah right down to random comedy ones like "Kungfu Baloons" We were obviously having too much time on our hands....

 

Photographer 2 hard at work. I did not dare to snap too much cause I will be in the way for the actual photographers 1 & 2 only. So I have many photos of the photographers in action instead. Since they won't have any of themselves :P

 Art Director ms.Chan....is gonna kill me for uploading this photo.*laughs* Moments like this I wish when I snap photos it will come out with the current dialogue that was going on as well-_- At the very least, we will know what the heck she was talking bout and I won't get killed for just taking another stupid photos of theirs :(

Overseeing the photoshoot. Actually I wonder how the couple felt when we were looking at them doing poses and stuffs for the photoshoot. I definitely can't do it. hahahaha I will feel awkward and weird that people are staring at me. If I ever have to have a photoshoot, I better either make sure the theme is a silly one so I don't have to think so much cause acting silly is like....doing what I do everyday anyway :P or everyone of my dear friends is gonna be in my photshoot. So if wanna be awkward, WE ALL ARE GONNA BE AWKWARD TOGETHER. wahahahaha!

Loving the prop cum wedding registration book so very much. I still can't get over the fact that materials and such was scouted at the very last minute (considering it was supposed to be done 1-2 months beforehand) and the fact that the outcome was sooo very much like the one in UP. It's amazing of the bride and ms.chan. *laughs*

ms.Prawn's brother looking like a slave/labourer. hahahaha On the balloon was written "the Spirit of Adventure!" and it is an adventure alright-_- at the cliff just to get a shot. Bride was in heels sumore.

 I almost fainted when I saw where the photographer was standing. This picture does no justice to show the exact steepness of this place. To a point when I wanted to snap this, everyone was stopping me from going any further cause knowing bulat.....she might just miss a step and fall LOL and ROLL DOWN like a ball. the exact sentence what ms.ong said..T_T

Miao doing "wifely" duties. hahahaha Wang is scared of me already for I keep taking stupid random shots of him. I have NINJA skills! :D Wang and my ah pek same age but Wang feels so much younger from the way he does things! Art industry does things to you. They make you young by overworking you.

 

Tied the balloons to the car while going to the next destination. Love it too much to just let it go (although there was like gazillion unblown ones)   People were looking at us and did not know balloons can make such loud noise when it is hitting the car.

 ms.Ong is scared of colours despite working with them everyday and can't believe she's sitting in a car that has balloons sticking out from it :P in the end the balloons were given away to children who were passing by and squealing at the sight of it. Well, better then releasing them to the sky I guess : )

 Lovelovelove this place. Brings back much memories. They had things that I recall owning and some were just stuffs that my grandma use to have. One thing bout it people tend to throw things once they are old or deem useless. Who would ever thought vintage would be back and now people pay to collect things that were once deem as rubbish! my grandma never ever understood my fetish for vintage and got a shock when I ask her if I could keep some really old stuffs from her home which my mom DIE also did not allow me to take homeT_T

Last pit stop for the day before we crashed and died on the bed. 6 girls in a room with 2 twin beds and me with "that time of the month"....Panda eyes, here we come. Oh no. wait. We took photos at the night market too....Out of the UP theme but thought we could do some artsy shots. Funnily we were the models too. Our job was to walk up and down the market street to create the "zoom fast walk effect" in the photograph and I did it while munching on all the goodies I bought with ms.Ong from the night market keke*

  

Pretend shots ms.Lyn took for us :P or more like we were "forced" to become her scapegoat models.

Classroom shot. The book was in Chinese and being a banana, I was ecstatic when I saw "pinyin" below the words and starting reading. ms.Chan said I am a failed chinese cause even with the pinyin it's all the wrong "tune/tone" T_T hahahaha

 

Ms.Chan "lazing in class" Bulat "being hardworking" But in actual fact, it's the exact opposite in real life. I am the laziest student anyone can meet. But I definitely can use the abacus cause I went for classes before and scored really well in it! :D Me and round things, we just link like that.

Everyone was excited when they saw the measuring height board-_- and being the shorty of the group...naturally I have to pose with it-_- Thank God the numbers can't be seen here but the words in Chinese are "I have grown taller again!" T_T the only time I can use that sentence is when I wear heels.

 Bulat and Chocolates! The boxes were sooo prettttyyyyyy....I remember receiving boxes and boxes of chocolates when I was young during my birthday. A contribution of what I am today... Round-_- ms.Chan said lucky the boxes wee empty. She can confirm if there were any chocolates inside any of the boxes, despite how old and rusty and obviously expired they are, I would prolly forget bout it at that very instant and eat one.

• will be going up cameron this weekend for a friend's pre-wedding photoshoot:) *all smiles:):)* i am soooo looking fwd to it that no words in the dictionary can fit the exact current state of "kan-cheongness" i am in. like happy, but worried, but really excited yet lost....you get my drift with my small adjectives:) *laughs* i know for one we will definitely be all 100% "work" (i guess it can be called work, we are all gonna be slaves to the photoshoot yo! hint : BALOONS! helium tank going up with us! :D wheeeeee-ness!*) 0% sleep and maybe 99.99% stress (harhar) bt hopefully gazillion moments of fun in between ! (may fun be able to squeeze in at anytime!) :P anyway. i shall brainwash myself at this point.
  

  however, whatever that is gonna happen. few years (maybe even months) down the road, every single thing that we are going through now, good and bad are gonna be good memories in the long run!:)
  (providing no one gets killed...but i believe in my sakai group friendship!)

• i have been feeling quite blah lately cause ....once again, it hits me that i am always not sensitive enough as a friend. emotionally and physically. it really comes to a point where it's as if all i have been doing is nothing but wrongwrongwrong. but i learnt though, that everyone is different and i can't put all of them into the same pot (different ppl prefers different pots? at different ...environment? metaphorically speaking..if you get my drift) so i just gotta be more tactful in handling friendships esp when they are hard to come by at this age (i think...hmm...i mean they will only get less esp after marriages and babies come right? and i am at the prime of that!) note to self : person a & b can say "nevermind" for the same thing but doesn't mean that both of them REALLY mean it, depending on situation.

• i have decided to shop less (ya allah- by now everyone should know i am a shopaholic, i i have all the money in the world. my most fav thing to do is actually...buying stuffs for people. i'm dead serious.) i always see things that i know, i just know my friends would LOVE TO HAVE IT. but the price tag is like !@#@$@$#$%#@#@$$, then you can see my ah pek asking me "so....you wanna sell your pepet to me?":D whatheeffinglatjiupanmee. (it's just our joke whenever i say i wan money....haha please don't judge my ah pek from that sentence) oh and the reason to shop less is......*i wanna fund my brother's flight tix for his USA trip* i am dead serious on this. i have.....*counts* 4 months to save. i don't know how is that gonna happen but if i don't touch my angpao money, i can actually see it happening. (gonna lock up my angpaos once they reach my hands during CNY wtbbqmossburger)
  

• ....i have exams next wed. i have tons of work to do tmr and friday. photoshoot at cameron is the weekends....that leaves me.......minus sleeping time, lazy time, work time, makan time, MSN&Gchat time, phone talks with prawn babe.....i have ...logically maybe 3 hours to study?! ...........slice my wrist with plastic McD butter knife.

• on a side note, i already have my 1st birthday present! O_O it's a el cheapo present but wtfishsaucecakes. i am happy:) and i really wanna join this thing that is effffinnnnggg expensive but i just feel like it (my God, impulse lorh!) but currently i can't cause my schedule is full on that very same day-_- so....*prays hard* actually i have super mix feelings cause if i can make it, i will be happy but poorer. if i can't make it, i will be sad but richer! -_- *buries face*

Oktoberfest!

Obviously, mine is a different kind! :P heheheh* Not surprising huh?? Audrey still can't believe The Starbucks tub was gone before she could even reach home after dropping me off. LOL :P Told you one tub is never enough for my family. Or maybe just mom and me...*shy* 

Bought by random at Cold Storage, Giza. Ohmaigoose. Really tasted like Ferrero Rocher! O_O If it's like this, might as well I get a tub instead of the actual chocolate. Cheaper! and I never expected the Vanilla to taste as good as the ones in Haagen.

Haagen Promotion! We bought few more the next day but too lazy to take photos hurhur* If people's blood is alchohol, mine is obviously ice-cream. I think I practically finished the whole Blue Bunny tub myself! So addictive-_- okay. pretend you did  not see that.

i will be very happy if there is actually people out there who appreciates Japanese Film Festival cause no one around me i know does!

every year i usually catch the film fest alone. last year and this year i had a botak guinea pig with me. heh*

yes. i really don't mind catching movies alone.
yes. i mind actually forcing people to watch things that they don't wanna watch in the first place. and yes, i have a phobia ever since a friend said because of me, everyone has to watch stupid, nonsensical shows that usually 'normal' people wouldn't bother to catch. when in the first place i usually just give suggestions when no one can come up with an actual answer of what to watch *phobiaphobia*

anyway, all's good. tmr will be the last movie. caught 9 out of 10 movies. hohoho*
i have good useless skills, i should say. hahaha i can't do time management for nuts but i manage to squeeze as many shows as i can into my horrible no time management schedule!

hello! the cute door that greets you before entering! seriously, if you do not know the area well, you might have to waste a lil petrol making rounds cause it wasn't really prominent to begin with and it's kinda tucked away..hidden..somewhere. laughs*

you are required to take off your shoes before entering (if i remember correctly) i guess it does promote warm, homey kinda feel by doing so.

the blackboard that was outside with the signage..brings manymany memories of high school and the horrible chalk dust floating around when erased. the fact that i was short, not fun erasing the blackboard LOL i recalled in std 3 maybe? i was jumping to rub the top part of the blackboard. short remember? not to mention fat too (fatter then now lol growing sideways at top speed!)
and my teacher actually said, in front of the whole class.
"omg! don't jump. i can feel earthquake! i can't mark my work!"
.....i don't have to tell you how loud everyone laughed and she was actually being serious cause while saying it, she was holding both sides of the table with her hands like there was really an earthquake-_-!

this will greet you once you step in! the beautiful display of cakes...no , wait. actually the aroma will hit you first laughs* nothing beats a nice smelling cafe...omg...it's is damn heavenly the feeling...not to mention they have a glass window at the right side of the cafe that gives you a small view of the kitchen where 2 or 3 pastry chefs would be sprinkling their magic dusts to produce awesome goodies! :D yay!

love this! patchwork cloth thing to serve as a divider? door? i think i used to hate this kinda patchwork thing when i was young. both my grandmas did many things like these and i thought it was horrible cause it looks like a poor people thing *spoilt girl lol* but now my views have changed 180 degree..hahah i wonder why.

they have another room after the patchwork divider thing which i lovelove. it feels like a nice place for people to hang out if there a small party or something...maybe around 15 people? to just do whatever you want amongst yourself in a private room. downside is, right opposite this room is an office? actually its a floor that is divided by 2. the cafe on one side and office of a co. the other side. there was no one in that office when i went but my friend said there was when she went and it felt kinda weird to have a bunch of random ppl "at the cafe" although they are in another room all together.

the mille crepe cake! arhhh!!!* i sometimes wonder what is the big fuss over mille crepe cakes (like what is the fuss over macaroons.) but whatever...ahhhh!!!!*
erm ...this was prolly tiramisu. it was not bad....but still nothing beats the famous nadeje at melacca....or austin chase's layer cake.

original/vanilla mille crepe...sadly this was...like.....it was like eating butter. hardened butter. cold hardened butter. mille crepe is usually soft. this was actually kinda hard...i was alright with the taste but my bro (being the pro if all mille crepe cakes) hated it. hahaha T_T he said it was not good at all. wasting his calories. sigh* i read good reviews on their mille crepe though. maybe the pâtissier was having a bad day thus this cake, lacking with love during baking process..haha-_-!

on a plus side, i feel the cakes are reasonably priced at around rm8.50 per piece..don't think i see these kind of prices anymore lately. it's crazy but it starts to feel like rm12-rm15 is a normal pricing for a slice of cake when clearly you don't need that much for the ingredients.

well...if you don't pay (as in cash) then you will pay (as in energy) when you self-bake. hahahaha
