fashion is not my forte

first they were leggings, maybe it has been around for a long time but it only got famous like 2 years back? i recalled it being really famous around .....the mid 90's cause i was 12 then and mom was a HUGE fan of leggings. she had all kinds of prints! -_- frankly i hated them. i don't know why. maybe cause i was FAT and they make my legs look like FOREST TREE TRUNKS? (they still do but oh well)

i recalled her favourite print was one in Marilyn Monroe popart style. she made me wear it to one of the popular girl's birthday party (not mentioning her name here laughs*) and i also remembered how it tore a hole in the middle of the pants once i sat down cause i was too fat! -_- SIGH* spent the whole night covering that hole by sitting down nicely and leaving as early as possible.

that is why i hate leggings. although i find it a ridiculous need nowadays cause of popular long tops come short dresses. blah-_- but nope. i own ONE black leggings in case of emergency but have yet to use it cause i can never get past that trauma-_- ROAR*


then we have padded shoulders which i recall it being famous during mom's era too. cause i remember giving this horrendous look albeit being 6 only, when mom wore it to work almost everyday. prolly they were called 'power jackets' back then. work jackets with padded shoulders. SO UGLY LARH. OMG. i don't know what was so in about it. i just know it felt wrong-_- the fact that it is making a comeback, it's giving me the shivers though all i saw so far were small padded shoulders.

but we'll see.

cause there's always pretty women out there modeling them to make them look hot and fashionable. making you succumb to it thinking "actually not so bad what" which i pray i will never fall into such category-_- argh*

i had a hard time accepting gladiator flats too-_- don't know why. some really looked nice. but some.....seriously.....bird cage gone wrong. sigh. girls and fashion.

that is how long me and mr.fries can talk.
surprisingly without awkward stops. it's funny.
is it because we are both talkative?
because we can talk about anything under the sun inc. slippers?
because both of us has nothing to hide or hold back?
because we are not afraid to be ourselves?
because we are in sync?
because we don't talk on a daily basis so we have much more to share when we meet up?
because we accept one another?


we are different in many ways yet we are the same.
i really don't know how to explain but i noticed it's always an impromptu meeting. usually with him just saying in random.

"eh? why you home wan? come. let's go kaikai. kakaka"

and i so far always say, "let's go!"

resulting him giving me the "O.o" look every.single.time.

haha :D

and how funny every time i feel i just need somebody to talk (take) my mind off things his invitation comes.

talk bout freakay.

and who the heck walks halfway will say things like, "eh can we just sit down and talk. i like talking. talking's better"

out of the blue

we were randomly talking bout fruits while eating at kei tak sek. (wheee~ mr.cookie gave me his honeydew loh's cherry haha :D) when he said the above sentence-_-

so sudden...i din't expect someone like him. so straight and dead sometimes will suddenly come out something lame and random.

almost chocked on my fungus whatever drink. sweat.

hahaha baby got a bigger shock la i think.

poor jpeg. resolution. it reads 'long time no see' urg* can't save in low resolution anymore.

up till now whenever i see ms.boobs. my boobs whom are already small will feel 10 times smaller then they already are. sigh* and it took six long years for me to look at her face when i talk to her cause apparently last time my eyes will automatically look at her boobs and talk, not her face-_-

obviously i will just have to stick to this whole situation and love my small boobies cause it's not like there's a boob dance i can do to make them bigger right?! -_-!!

sometimes i really get baffled by all these vegetarian food. just cause you can't eat meat (or not supposed to) so you settle for superficial meat which in the end of the day feels like real to me....kinda defeating the whole purpose of going vegetarian.

the ironic thing is calling all "meat" dishes and end up with no veggies! might as well i go to a proper restaurant and order like 6 different kind of veggies right? arg* laughs* but we are humans and ar...this complexity makes us interesting as a whole (saving my own ass here)

anyway, i must have seen Organic Recipe's signboard (you know those, restaurant name. insert arrow pointing to loc) like more then 100 times. yes, cause i have to pass by that particular road to get home. ms.boob queen has tried it and LOVED the place. mom's is a vegetarian freelancer (eat by mood kind) so off we went.


with clear directions, easily the restaurant can be located and seriously it was definitely way off from what i had in mind. they had an air conned area and non air conned. (smoking.non-smoking)(inside.outside) whatever works.


the drink station is outside with lush greenery around. enough oxygen and air circulation.


the inside had an area selling organic food items such as enzyme, rice, honey etc. it was a cross between cosy and chinese feel-_- like it's cosy cause of the colour theme but then again it was tables and tables packed like chinese restaurant. laughs*


Fish. Rm11.90
taste was there. but then again anything with chilli base has taste. texture was not bad. haha not that it tasted like fish texture but you can feel it's organic-ness.


yam basket. Rm13.90
the yam was not bad. but the veggie inside was only soso although i was like 'omg! pine nuts?!'. then again maybe cause bell peppers are not my favourite.


seaweed rice ball. RM3.90
it was dry to me. at least i know the seaweed is confirm the unsalted healthy kind. you can actually taste the actual seaweed taste people use to cook soup. talking bout rice they serve white(RM1.50) and brown(RM3.00) not sure bout the white, but the brown rice was really dry and loose. maybe it's healthier that way (or maybe cause they put water while cooking it) i like my rice semi-sticky. thanks.

now i know, my mom chooses food that has pictures and food that has a varieties of colour-_- haha. this is definitely for the healthy. not bad with a tinge of some juice but if you feel like a cannibal that day skip this.


Tofu. RM10.90
Tofu will always be tofu.(although i love tofu to bits and pieces) it's the sauce that makes the difference unless the tofu is really great on it's own. nothing special to me.


Fruit Tea Rm9.90. RM3 for hot water refill.
so far i noticed vegetarian shops all serve super chun fruit teas like these. hahaha funny how people are willing to pay so much when it's actually simple to make at home.

But there was something that caught my attention in the menu that i wanted to try but no one wanted to support my decision.

Tom Yum soup in COCONUT. omg. must be heavenly. feels and sounds heavenly. argh* i shall go back 2nd round although everything i ate wasn't much to scream for!! ROAR.

flower girls on halloween

ms.sexay wanted to get flowers for her ex-boss's wife's birthday.
so off we went in her lil kenari to KL :D
right to the big ass wholeseller shop that my mom always goes to during CNY.
but actually we accidently stumbled onto another shop tucked away in between some alley (unfortunately after we bought our purchases) which had better colour sense with the wrappings (counts one okay!) and the flowers had those glorious smell *bliss*


look at her in her lil pretty floral dress and happy bright flower colours :P

i almost went berserk seeing all the flowers and how cheap they were. i'm sorry. despite how girls always say flowers are a waste of money. girls will always freaking like flowers. it's like the head arguing with the heart.

sigh* if i had the chance (and the money to get the flowers). i feel like doing what yotsuba did. haha be a flower cupid. basically handing out flowers to random people on the street. but i'm so uncute. i will prolly scare people Laughs*

these are called "keh leh feh" flowers. flowers used to just accompany the main one O_o why?! these are not pretty enough to be main flowers meh?! odd.

then a brilliant idea striked up (okay it wasn't that brilliant but at least it solved the what to buy problem) to buy a bouquet for dear baby's belated present and giving a surprise to her by leaving it in her room. sure shock her when she reaches home (which d'oh happened. LOL) the normal old technique that never fails. hahaha :D least expected rocks when the outcome is a good one. (so far i noticed small surprises works. big ones usually don't :P) sad thing bout these roses was only 1 had smell amongst all 12 stalks. mieh.

the golden rule.
books are always better.

hahaha i can't really judge the movie cause the book was more detailed and precised. but perhaps they did well in extracting what was important since so far no one (or whomever i knew that has watched) complained bout it. siu mai even said it was touching and cried. the book was way more touching i felt. yes. they tweaked the ending ever so slightly. but then again, thank God i read the book cause it made me feel clearer in general. lil ms.chicken was asking questions and talking throughout the whole movie (a habit that hasn't changed since form 2!) so i din't really felt the climax etc. of the movie. just enjoying a private girl session with her :P (and felt lucky the guy behind din't kill us for talking so much and kinda loud haha)

not for guys who likes action pack and don't have a tiny bit of emotion in their heart or people expecting high expectations.

as i quote lil ms.chicken, "somewhat in between The Notebook(the better movie) and P.S I love you."

i have to catch the Notebook.

and dammit. now i have to buy or download "500 days of summer".


oh :D lil ms chicken and i shall thank her for accompanying me to watch this movie with genuine feelings of wanting to catch the movie. *blessed*
