Surprise at THE WATCH

Ah pek won tickets to The Watch the other day. (Thanks Nuffnang for appreciating ah pek's sense of humour hahahaha :P) Tagged along not knowing what was it about at all. But one look at Ben Stiller on the ticket, must be some silly movie jorh. (and while lining up for the tickets, heard so much pregnancy stories from 2 girls behind that now I am fully equipped laughs* level up! dingding!)

Suddenly....
Actually Eric already "BULAT!" me during buying popcorn time. It such a sudden, shocking thing (for me) that I think my life kena cut into half...hahaha (^^"). Now he "BULAT" me again, some more so bright, heart attack!...haha
Honestly first time seeing them in flesh&blood O_O Totally didn't expect cause did not see them the last movie. Not even the tip of their noses O_O I was gonna give myself a silent pep talk to approach them..

when suddenly...
Ernest approach me first ! O_O
Straightaway...
If Jian is the King of comic blogging, Ernest is the Queen  Prince?( Right Hand Man? Next in line???) So a bit.....actually my eyes were as big as plates la (or trying to be as big) O_O plus after seeing so many Youtube videos of him...kinda surreal to see in flesh&blood...haha T_T
T_T ended abruptly and awkwardly despite him being so friendly. So now I know, actually I did not grow up at all. Lucky Ernest din't ask for my age. Really not enough fingers.. T_T. I will level up my "meeting people for the first time" skill.

As for the movie, I long time never sit in between stereo sound (surround sound?) liao. Some jokes were lame but I guess for a silly storyline to begin with, it matches. Ah pek esp. liked the part where they kept shooting the alien to make sure the alien is dead. He said that was very "real", something what any normal human would do but it was comical when shown. For me, as long you watch THE WATCH without any expectations in mind then it would be a good popcorn movie. Just laugh, no need think :P Laugh louder to make the ticket worth :P

Paranorman : Movie Review

I have been to Nuffnang's screenings before, the first time being P.O.T.C.
And many other times were friends' who somehow always have tickets (I honestly don't know how they get it O_O) and I just freeload in together *heh*

but this is the FIRST time I personally won it from Nuffnang :D *wheee*
(or should I say Nuffnang gave me a chance to watch? haha Thank you~)
Ah pek made me worry during collection time cause I have never collected the tickets before. In the past, friends will just pass the ticket to me once I reach. I also recall waiting at the entrance door like...15 minutes before the movie starts?? Just to rush in FAST in order to get good seats. Now it feels so civilized. HAHAHA :D
3D is not necessary other than feeling "cool" wearing the new 3D glasses
ParaNorman made my night! Storyline was a lil' predictable and towards the ending was like a sudden rush into the storyline (children's movie ma! but what's with the PG13? Maybe PG6 la)
but the jokes made me entertained throughout. I loved the colours used too. Similar to reading a children's illustration book with slight pop-ups. haha :D and though so, still got frightened at certain parts mehhhhh

Honestly, it was a great improvement from Coraline, a bit more appealing to the public no?
(esp. love the character designs this time around) and overall, I preferred this over Brave. *shrugs*

Qn to win the tix was :
"giving your wittiest speech to a very hungry zombie on the verge of swallowing you whole! Use your skills of persuasion & wit to avoid being zombie meal."
Both of us submitted for this but we were arguing on whose answer was the winning one.

MINE RIGHT?!!:D

Brave Doodle

Random messy drawing done on iPad. Should really buy the other pens available than just sticking to the default one.
Placed very high hopes just to have a flat heart rate upon watching it. It was certainly cute and considerably Disney but somehow although message (or moral of the story?) is loud and clear, the thought of her mother turning into a bear is ...a lilllll bit too much. (so much coming from a person who draws her baby brother as a bear  on the blog HAHA)

and I still miss 2D cartoons by Disney.
Those were one of the best.

French Film Festival @ GSC

It's back!
Butt aches and horrible parking rounds at 1Utama. For one of the movies, I actually reached into the carpark at 8.30pm, I was in there making rounds and rounds and rounds and rounds....till 9.10pm. Movie was at 9.15pm :( And I saw like 5 cars in front of me get parking in that span of time. No parking luck ..AT ALL :(
Service Entrance
(not sure why is it called 'the women on the 6th floor' when I searched for the poster. Though, Service Entrance was written instead on GSC)

Went in with zero expectations cause I did not even read the synopsis. Then then, before the movie started an old lady sat next to me. She looked like those old time film star! You know those old ladies with poofy hair with gold earrings and bangles and sunglasses? :D She said hello!!! From there on, I knew the show was gonna be good! HAHAHAHA. it was really good honestly. It's a story bout life itself. Like really how to live your life? Fill it with colours, sounds, laughters, memories! Just smile, be happy! Life will be good to you when you are good to yourself! you know?? :D of course, there was a lil loveeeee brewing too. It's a lovelylovely beautiful show. ahh...I came back smiling from ear to ear tat my mom thought I was on drugs :P

Romantics Anonymous

I think I have never heard ah pek laugh so loud in my life. To make my stereo sound complete, the girl on my right was just as loud! O_O LOL. But i guess thats good 'nuf to show how nice the show was. It was touching where you can see both individuals with the same problem trying to be the best of however to overcome their fear. Charming and uneven, surprisingly with all the lil quirks of the movie that made me laugh throughout, it made me shed few tears too. Definitely a movie romantics will enjoy :)

A Cat in Paris

Somewhat predictable storyline but for an animation I think it surpasses the usual fairytales that every one is used to. The story flowed really well and the drawing was definitely something refreshing. With the somewhat pencil colour finishing and not your average Disney characters, it actually feels like a illustrated storybook unfolding in front of your very eyes :)

And i have the soft copy of this! *muahahaha*
if anyone wants, just ask me! :)

Ouh! and I missed the Intouchables screening....heard it was reallyreally good :( awhs*

Menya Musashi @ Isetan 1 Utama

Met up with my AA batteries today laughs*
Too bad the other is off to the states for her holiday cum work. If not it would be AAA batteries O_O
Only my name starts with an E geh T_T odd one out.

The night before Anne SMS-ed location of the meet up and what-nots. (which I never realized but without Audrey it's so hard to set a date! LOL all of us too "selamba" [laid back] already)

But of course, us just being us. Au Yong and me walked aimlessly in Isetan, contemplating which to eat cause we don't remember which restaurant Anne has set and everything there was jap. The last stop we went was Menya Musashi and got a shocked to see a queue outside. It's only 10.40am! O_O Why the heck is there a queue!? and it's long! That's like ....being in Disneyland O_O and LOL! Anne was in the queue!-_-

Next thing I know, we were deciding on the ramen. As usual, left the decisions to my AA batteries cause I am an indecisive person and if everyone were to wait for me,the queue is gonna be even longer. As you can see, the menu was filled with ramen but with slight differences such as, 3 pieces of cha shu only (LOL why char siew spelling is like that? I din't know!) or 2 pieces of chasu and 1 egg etcetc. See also I wanna faint. Plus three types of oil were offered. Like how lar?! I cannot. Someone please make decision please! But I like the fact that noodles are precise. Too bad it doesn't come with 0.5 serving :P

We were made to order at the counter itself once we were first in line and ushered to sit once there were seats.

Kuro Musashi Ramen RM26

When it first came, I got a shock of my life! What's with the oil! whatheohmygoose. (LOL although suddenly when I think of it, black soup ain't that normal too right?!) But I know Japanese are famous for their healthy diet so upon much Googling, I realized the oil is actually from bone marrow fats and collagen. So...yea, no harm done today.  laughs* Did not drink much of the soup although it's actually really tasty (could not get over the oil LOL) though I did see other patrons do so.(and many are Japanese, you can hear them excitedly talk while queuing) But OMG, can you see from the picture?! Is it obvious enough? The cha shu is like effing big! It's bigger than my palm! O_O Never ever seen such a huge cha shu! It was a lil tough but am all good with meat! yay! Egg was runny enough to me. Mee was a lil on the thick side but it's cooked to perfection.

The best part is the bamboo shoots. I don't know why I always feel there is this kind of taste in bamboo shoots and I absolutely can't take it. Almost died when I was in China and every dish had bamboo shoots. BUT this, these bamboo shoots had non of those weird taste and I think I just saw an angel float above the bamboo shoots as I gladly, slowly but surely, started eating bits and bits of it all! O_O Cause I never thought bamboo shoots can taste this good !T_T hallelujah. Will gladly return just to eat the bamboo shoots LOL!

 Musashi Tsukemen  RM27

"Kon Lou Ramen".(Dry Ramen) Where you dip the ramen into the thick broth and slurp happily away. And that's what I really did LOL The broth was definitely thicker and tastier for this. Not to mention oilier and saltier. Though Anne said it was supposed to be so, so that when ramen is dipped into the broth, it would be coated nicely and with taste. Not meant for drinking but Au Yong didn't know and slurped a spoon in and almost died from it's strong taste. (not for the healthy freaks LOL) Preferred this although many people prefer the one in soup (as I scout around) But with such strong taste and oil, felt full/filled fast. Not sure at that point if the generous serving was a good or bad thing LOL*
 Chashu Gohan RM9

Braised pork don. The lady said that the portion would be small for this. Am definitely a small eater-_- This is more than enough to fill me up-_- Tasted better than I expected since this is a ramen shop. Kinda like "Lu Rou Fan" (braised pork rice). I know, what am I thinking, going into a ramen shop and ordering a don! But at least now I know, if I wanna eat ramen but my whoever tagging along doesn't want to. The don is just as good!

Gyoza was per normal to me and ice green tea does, does the trick in cleansing the mouth after eating. The mostmost interesting thing of Menya Musashi (other than kids having colourful bowls and cups when eating and the chefs yells after every made order) is the boss, Masterchef Yamaguchi. Which I excitedly told Anne and Au Yong that the samurai panting outside the shop is definitely modeled after him! He walks around the shop and out in his geta (clopclopclop*) You can't help but take a peek every.single.time because he looks so cool and there is just an aura about him. Maybe he's my type subconsciously, or maybe cause he looks like an anime character :D

Upon leaving the shop, Anne wanted a shot of him for her blog. We stood a good few minutes outside trying to get his photo through the wooden panels -_- We definitely looked like stalkers, not helping that her camera had a big ass lens. When he came out, I thick skinly ran to him and muttered in my most polite tone of "Sumimasen..."

Don't I look like a fan girl!? :D

Next thing I knew, he lead me to the front of his shop just to take the photo. Next to his samurai painting LOL T_T I felt bad I was taking up his time but extremely happy I got a shot with him. Okay, just sounded like a fan girl-_- After all the thank yous and what nots, I realized that I was stopping him when he was on his way to the washroom -_____________________________-

ごめなさい!! O_O

Despite the oiliness that I wasn't used to , I will definitely be back to try the Chilli broth and of course, like a fan girl gush about the boss to my other friends LOL

Menya Musashi
Isetan One Utama
Lot G102, F101 & S101
1Utama

(un-missable with the samurai painting and the queue)
p.s// Watched Imprint from the batch of DVDs I bought last Thursday. 6 people in the living room and one crazy, grotesque, horror film. By the end of the film, we were all half past dead. Minds were not in tact. Everyone was left with weird aftermath. but arh.....for the whole 60 minutes of it, the worst part was actually prolly around 5 minutes long and I missed it cause I suddenly had a tummy ache and was in the washroom LOL! :P

but I can hear everyone screaming screams of disgusts, pain and agony while I was inside (doing my business...hmm) LOL am definitely not watching it by myself just to catch what I have missed. And I Googled it just to find out it was one of the episodes of Masters of Horror and this was not even aired for it was too disturbing after it being toned down already (my gosh! means it was even worse before !)

GREAT. me and my random buyings. LOL caused everyone great pains. oops* I know this is so totally not a good review of the movie but..yea. Those were my exact feelings. And omg, just ignore the storyline please. It's really random, I think just for the sake of the movie to con't on with it's "psychoness". Btw, gladly gladly will give away the DVD for free to anyone who enjoys or collects these kind of movies. Really, am being serious. Be my guest.

Foreign Love

Ever since SS2's DVD shop (one near KTZ) closed down, ms.Chan and I have been finding for another DVD shop to spend our money on -_- okay. that sounds silly LOL. But that was the only place we could sometimes find hidden treasures beneath everything. Well, that was how we found Amelie after randomly watching a few french / foreign movies in the cinema. Not to mention my whole lot of Japanese animation-_-'' Collected the whole lot of Satoshi's animations :D

Every time after eating at U.F.O, we would pass by this DVD shop next to the cybercafe. Don't know what made us enter this time around. But we did. And arh...LOL....spent money la what else!-_- Surprisingly, they sold foreign films! O_O considerably whole lot of them!

I was even more shocked when the owners (I assume) came and started recommending which movies are good to watch in ENGLISH-_- (sorry! LOL I think I hardly see DVD sellers talking in English, so I was like O_O) Well, they were rotating from english to cantonese to mandarin-_- meh. They were recommending non-stop till...it was a lil..scary. LOL cause I tend to like cute (okay, ms.Chan scolded me for this. LOL cause I kept saying CUTE movies. actually what I meant was quirky movies) and she prefers fantasy, out of the world, dark humour kind but they were pushing mainly.......gore? thriller? psycho? LOL I was going crazy cause......I can't just ignore them?? O_O But ms.Chan was quietly, slowly but surely...moving away-_- kns.
Spent more than I expected-_- kns. LOL. Bought the above 4. Both french films I have already watched but would wanna keep a copy. I hope this time around my Amelie stays with me-_- People always borrow and it goes missing after that-_- meh. Japanese took by random cause I really gotta watch more Japanese films. Catching Jap Film Fest once a year at GSC doesn't work. Imprint is bought for my mom cause she likes psycho movies like that-_- If she likes this, guess will get the rest that the DVD sellers recommended.

ms.Chan bought Melancholia, The Artist, Kooky (which we missed at GSC), The Tin Drum and ar...more stuffs LOL. Will just grab from her when she's done. nyehehehehe* Wanted to get Hugo (must have missed it at GSC too) and hopefully they can restock the ones we wanted cause must keep a copy lar! (MicMacs, Delicatessen, Innocence...) LOL. I feel like I'm talking some alien language with all those movie titles.

Ah......ms.Chan will be going to Europe soon. Wish I am going with her. Would love to breathe the air and suck in whatever they have, not just look and imagine through the TV and ar...soak my teeth into french desserts... LOL :D and I don't know, do what the french do. LOL laze around and be artsy-fartsy?

Hopefully got time to catch the coming French Film Fest at GSC. Ah pek thinks we are nuts to chase foreign films like this. I rather be watching these than watching let's say....DIE HARD 4 where it's allBOOMBOOM POW. bah.

Nah, for your viewing pleasure:P

Dark Shadows Movie

Johnny Depp makes me lose a few moments of breath every time I watch his movies. Not that I love his looks a lot but his characters are always somehow... charming *shy*
I mean, honestly? Who the heck curses like this!?

"You may strategically place your wonderful lips upon my posterior and kiss it repeatedly!"

I was going on and on and on to ah pek how much I love Johnny Depp in this movie till ah pek got jealous (although he tried to hide it horribly) LOL :D Guess he won't be watching it then.

Graphs clearly states how I feel overall. But I think it's still worth rm13 to watch it in the cinema. If people can pay to watch Twilight, definitely can/should pay for this. Oh! Let's not forget to stare at Bella Heathcote's eyes. So...so....so....I want those eyes....*_*

Btw the family portrait from baby bro's convo is finally done (just in time for mother's day) and ms.chan said I looked like I had constipation or there's gold in my mouth that can't be shown to people-______- mom really looked like a superstar! and all she said was "Oh Thank God! at least next time when my great grandchildren see this photo, they will know how pretty and young their great grandma was!"
ms.Chan added "yea, and how stupid their grandaunt (aka me) looks like."

Movie Mania

Yes, random finger doodle. modeled after my friends, though they look much cuter in real life. LOL FTL.

....Can really never chase on par with the crowd T_T crazy.
But...I DID WATCH AVENGERS 3D today! wheeeee* LOL watched by mistake. *uh-hm*
But...but.....did not think it was thattttttt great *hides from all Avenger Die Hard fans* never really thought much bout the storyline though I did like each character individually. Each of them was as interesting and amusing as they should be. Mom would definitely still love Ironman and I will forever love Thor. Actually am not sure if I actually like him or just his hammer :D

or his voice....*hides*

Still prefer watching 2D I guess, spects on spects really takes a toll on my eyes AND nose-_-
Can I have my normal, not so much effects but great storyline movies back now?

Dark Flight 407 : movie review

Dark Flight? Seriously? LOLS :D everyone knows I watch horror through my fingers or shawl. This time around, I was still doing that but LAUGHING THROUGHOUT. (Gotlarh. In the beginning, I got a small fright. But that was forgettable soon enough!) Ms.Chan said she just wasted 2 hours of her life! For me, with all that laughing, I think I will live 2 hours longer then normal HAHAHAHAHA :D

Pity mom though, she is a big fan of horror and it has been eons since her scaredy cat daughter said okay for a horror and this is what she got. aiyooooooo~ When mom was buying the tix, she said "you prolly won't sit planes after this leh!" Really mom? If the ghosts look like the ones in the movie, alike zombies instead of ghosts, I think I will just blast Thriller for them. "Snakes on a plane" is really more likely to happen lorh.

桃姐 ; A Simple Life

For a supposedly sad movie, surprisingly crybaby me did not cry. It was not extremely sad in my opinion but it was certainly bittersweet. It's like an aftertaste from a cup of coffee. You just have this feeling in your heart and in your mind during and even after the show is over. Definitely prefer these over brainless non storyline action pack movies. *cough* surprisingly although the movie is set in a rather slow pace, it was actually flowed in a way you would not feel it at all. I guess in a way it was just suppose to make you feel enough without having to cry a bucketful of tears.

Based on a true story, revolves around the relationship between the housekeeper/servant who served the family for a wholesome 60 years (that's like really many generations) and the young master whom was with her till the very end.

In all honesty, I found their relationship very .... cute. Haha it's felt very true to the core as well. Like how you know, this housekeeper has been with you for many many years. But as of recent only when you are older , you truly learn to appreciate and love her for all that she has done for you and your family with all her heart. And being Chinese where it's not really a norm to show emotions ( we don't really hug hug here and there like the foreigners do although this might change in time to come) you can see the natural transition where the main characters naturally start to bond more and the housekeeper despite it all still kept it strong at her roots that she's a housekeeper and doesn't deserve all the good they are giving her. Very typical old Chinese thinking as well, where they never let people spend money on them cus it's a waste to do so. ( took me eons to convince my grandma that although a 200rm pair of shoes is indeed kinda pricey but its well worth knowing that her feet would be very comfy in it when she goes travelling... You knoww?? Seriously, buy one pair of shoes also gotta debate so long!! You know how many youngsters out there can just finish 200rm one night in a club ?? Bet my grandma will stick to those shoes till they koyak!! Super worth lo!! )

But after all that, I felt the most emotions and prolly the most frightening slot of the movie was the reality of old folks home out there. It was ... Like some horror movie scene to me. I think I got even more upset when my mom told me that the one in the movie is already very decent. I really felt like crying watching all the old people staying there. I will never ever let my grandparents nor my parents in the future enter any old folks home unless they come with swimming pool, karaoke and trips! But my mom said if such place exists... She would register herself in, I don't have to do it for her-_-

Once in a while it's good to just watch a movie like this. Makes you stop and reevaluate what is really important in the long run. Am not asking anyone to make a 180 degree change, but sometimes a small token of gratitude and appreciation to your love ones really will go a long way. Even if it doesn't mean much to you , you will never know what/how the other party might feel. So might as well don't take it for granted.

And I am seriously getting too old to watch a late night movie.....my stomach was growling. So now I know at 2am my stomach needs food..:P

2 birds at one go

Bodyguards and Assassins
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
i have never cried so much for a movie in a very long time. shows what a hambao(crybaby) i am. sigh* i cried from the part where the bodyguards start to protect Mr.Sun. way up till the end. together with lil screams here and there along the way. how can i not cry?! the movie was so bloody. everyone was dying. blood was spurting everywhere. pain was felt. feelings weren't spared. i was literally dying. i was dead by the time the show ended-_- i lovelove the movie but my heart definitely can't take a second time. sigh* my brother was gonna kill me though throughout the movie. hahahaha :D

Treasure Hunter
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
watch if you are a Jay Chou fan, don't watch if you are not :D ahahahhaha
nothing very special if you ask me. storyline was soso...acting...okaylarh. effects....well i love one fighting scene where bandages were flying all over :D felt like watching Naruto for a while. i love the "sand town" set up though. hahah there was this one shop that felt like those Japan's roadside ramen shop. damn cute!! :D Jay Chou...although i was gonna doze off (hello. how lar to fight Indiana Jones) but i have to give him credit. he's considered rookie for this (he better stick to romance since Secret was wayyy better) but he surprisingly can kick some ass :D

ribibit*

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
i am sooooooooooooo gonna watch it again!
(i know i'm so late in watching but bleah.)
i think i say the same thing for every Disney movie. *laughs*
maybe the company makes it all better too. it was just so....amusing! i was so glad to see that Disney has not lost their touch after about..5 years since their last 2D cartoon. it still contained the certain Disney essence like...how cliche Disney was to throw such punchline, how cliche of Disney to draw this particular character or how the musicals always end up to be extravagant.

but it's the clicheness that i missed so dearly. 2D cartoon gave some effect that 3D can never achieve..well at least to me. although i felt to a certain extend the characters lacked of development but because it was so enjoyable you tend to push everything aside and just sit back, relax and have fun:D i never laughed so loud and so long in my life for quite some time. (i must have scared the hell out of the kid beside me...with his mom-_-'' swt)
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
sigh* i can go on and on how much i love this scene. how much i love that act. how much this how much that. but seriously this is one of the first time that dingding! the prince...is not that alll glamorous :D dingdingding 2. the girl...is so real life. HAHA. independent, work comes first yadayada. but in the end love surpasses them all. awhhhhhhhs. sorry...cheesy but that's what fairytales does :D makes you smile at the very least.

the best thing bout Disney, other then moral values are always the sidekicks. wahlaoeh-_-'' i am soooo amused by Lottie. damn cute! crazy. i think on a bad day must be a plus point to have someone like her around. Oh. last but not least...what's with the firefly becoming a star next to evengaline!? BLeah. LAME!!! haha and omg....the ending where they became humans again left me and ms.boobs so speechless..we were like..."okay wei......how come we did not think of that!?"

"well..the movie would have ended in 30 minutes if the frogs were that smart. smart scriptwriter."

seriously, don't bother asking my mom.

oh. don't bother to ask jelly anything also. every answer he gives ....CAN KILL YOU ONE!!!! GILER.

4 hours of my life

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
i seriously did not expect to catch Poker King....*laughs* but since somebody wants to *cough* ended up sitting in the cinema 4th row from the front. aiks. surprisingly it was not bad. maybe it has been some time since i caught a cantonese movie plus usually they are a disappointment. lucky this wasn't. i was also watching it in total blur until there was a point where they explained poker rules and i went "OHHHH" hahahaha straightaway got a whack on my head-_-' wathe-ef. for a comedy show i shall now declared that i cried-_- I CRIED. zzzz. cause i thought it was touching.....sigh* i need plasticine to block my tear duct or something.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
2012.......was ar...like Noah's ark in a high-tech version. *laughs* i don't know, it felt like any other disaster movie. main character always survive. go through all kinds of catastrophe....but seriously if this were to really happen. i really think that all we can do is wait for death. everything was happening so fast. i doubt there's much you can do. plus it is showed as real as it is.....only 'certain' people will have the chance to survive..-_-'' but it was touching at certain parts. you know that deep down in the end of the day, blood is thicker (redder?) than water.

also...cause your dear bulat here drank a lot of water.....her bladder was gonna burst towards the end of the movie where all the excitement is and the flood scenes weren't helping. ARGH*

turning back time

DAYTONAAAAA!!!! *ROAR*
it has beeen yearsssssss :D
i always loveddd daytona. that's where i learned that stepping brakes was no fun! HAHAHHAHA and unfortunately brought it to real life, hence my horrible driving skills-_-

played other games as well. can't believe i was spending money on tokens. haha what was missing were purikara (photo sticker) machines. Bah.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
how to act cute. haha-_-

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
and ar :D signs of growing up (or down?) hahahhahaha photos all in facebook. lazy to resize and blab all bout the fun we had killing one another. sorry anne :D

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
G force...is definitely for kids that haven't hit puberty hahaha :D it was cute. it was funny. but when people ask "so how?" you will go "oh-kay..larhh...cutelorh."

the storyline was predictable, too many BEP songs and i feel like whacking the 'rodent' -_- but cute factor was wayyyy high. kuakua. minus the roaches. brrr*
karipop was saying though.
"but you were laughing damn loud! how can you say just okay?"
cause hor...already pay money. might as well make full use and laugh to my heart's content lar :D

where got ghost?

-_-
my face lar.
after watching this movie. i am the ghost. gonna haunt Jack Neo for such movie.
a great waste of my time.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
i love Jack Neo. have always been. since the days he acted in "Liang Por Por". then he made it into the big screen. then...i don't knowlar....when you have a reputation to keep up, you are gonna have to push it further and harder and sometimes it might backfire (im just saying my honest thoughts. not trying to diss a man who worked hard to get where he is right now....i know im contradicting by saying this right? haha-_-) or maybe i'm growing up-_-

or maybe he should not do any comedy horror.
'nuf said.

the only good joke that i really liked from the whole movie was.

"why this orange not sweet wan!?"
"oh boss...this orange..sugar-free.."

whatdakulikulikuakua. hahahahha lame dao....

and my harmonica darling is having a big day tmr. kuakua. me needs to make sure got suckling pig to eat! me definitely looking fwd although it's gonna take some time! my very happiessss :D

the ugly truth

is something all of us know deep inside but refuse to admit :D

haha ...well to a certain extendlar. i mean movies always show the most extreme cases so that the dumb and the blur (aka me) can see the obvious difference if not i will come out baffled and lost.

it's true that guys are visual based. how can i deny it after so many years mixing with all those 'jimuis' of mine. differs from guy to guy but it's somehow pretty much the same stereotyped look. *paste pictures of Korean girls after plastic surgery* that is also how it ruined my thinking of guys and showed me how shallow some of them can be.

and..unfortunately it's true on the girl's end also. HAHA. of course it's the same old...security....sense of humour...stability..blahblahblah *sticks imaginary list as long as Nile river* late last year i knew a girl who actually evaluate guys like shown in the movie-_- to me it was really freaky. wanna be friend also feel tiring.

but really,(although the movie was lacking a bit..i mean to me there wasn't enough incidents to go around making the 2 mains to fall in love with each other) the final moral of the story is that when love happens. it just happens. with the heart.

and when it happens, you won't even realize it. your heart feels like its exploding with happiness and the long list? criteria? all out the window like it was yesterday's toilet paper..the one you used to wipe your bumbum.

murder me-_-

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
see. before i knew it. i watched another horror/thriller movie.

jengjeng.

as compared to "The Orphan" , "Murderer" was ....kinda tame....but it made me feel pissed. at first i was fine...then i was scared. it was freaky, the lil boy was so cute! (spoilerlar don't care.) then slowly..you will learn to know he's the murderer (or the head/brain behind every killing cause he wanted revenge) this really shows that you really can't judge a book by it's cover and the saying, "the person is beautiful when the inside is as well" cause once i knew he was the murderer...not cute anymore! hello, he's like this 7 year old kid but actually his mind is a 40 year old's man and it's all twisted! i was gonna cry cause it made me feel so scared.

if i was a kindergarten teacher i will think twice bout all the lil kids i'm teaching after this movie! Lord. plus after Aaron Kwok knows he's the murderer but can't do anything bout it cause he planned the killings to have all evidence point back to Aaron Kwok making him sound like the murderer instead. plus the now not so cute and innocent lil boy said things like, "i am now gonna find your wife to sleep. i am thinking of her again."

... so freaky lar T_T

and at the end the kid din't die! *ROAR* from my "oh so cute" feeling, i went to saying out loud, "KILL HIM!!!if you are not gonna kill him, let me do it!"

i seriously felt like killing him-_- *strangle* *stabstabstab*

worse part is the kid did not die in the end and Aaron Kwok was put into jail-_-

AIH*

what a show. seriously if you like kids like me...i recommend not to watch it. spoils your brain cells. maybe the fact that i'm a girl makes the whole thing feels worse-_-

let's stick to happy normal kids show like...."Baby's Day Out."

damn cute :D

Orphan

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
this movie reminded me how tiring it is to watch horror.

oh. the. horror.

i was born with a malfunction called "i rather die then watch horror."

just to have a mom who has a function called "i love horror. they make me feel 18 all over again."

what shit.

-_- for a person that absolutely hate horror. i watched more than my fair share or more than any normal person's fair share. argh* i'm also a bad horror movie reviewer because 80% of the time my face is covered by whatever within hands grasp. it also includes any random neighbour's shirt sleeve if i am desperate enough. i can however tell you how horrifyingly amazing the sound system was :D hahahahahaha

based on whatever 20% of the show i have watched, seriously "Orphan"-there's something wrong with Esther was a good movie. it keeps you awake and train your heartbeat. the fact that it was psychotic and not ....omg. it's a thriller....but it felt like horror..-_- okay it's a horrifying thriller movie. makes you think...re-think and think again bout lil children out there......*insert x-files theme although it's outdated*

seriously..she just won't die. Argh. i had a good mind to stab her myself if she din't die in the end of the movie. ops. spoiler....erm....lemme give you another spoiler! :D the dad died! wheee* i am ridiculously happy the dad died cause....he has to go. what kind of husband doesn't believe the wife (hah! :D yes, i'm a sex-ism)

seriously, Isabelle Fuhrman (who acts as the main character, Esther) can seriously act-_- she's only 12 and you can tell she's gonna go farfarfar. one plus point! the lil sister/daughter of the movie who's deaf :D walao-eh. damn cute. hahahah:D it's because of her i kept my eyes open for that 20% cause she's too cute to be missed. for a small lil girl she's one tough cookie protecting her love ones! :D

go watch if you love horror/thriller and your silent happy hobby is...erm...:D
pulling people's shirt, scaring people who are easily scared and hugging.

yeap.

lesson #243

when marathon in a cinema. remember to bite something the very least. or at least bite more.
cause food digest faster when it's cold and....congrats! gastric and a rock band stomach where everyone can hear cause jap shows are silent does nothing but give you pain and embarrassment *laughs*
